Alfred de Breanski Snr. was an accomplished landscapist famous for his resplendent views of the Scottish Highlands. He made his debut at the Royal Academy in 1872, where he exhibited until 1890 and also at the society of British Artists. His speciality was spectacular scenes of Scottish Lochs at sunset.
